As a young boy Chef Ron grew up in a traditional Italian family, he remembers cooking Sunday sauce with his Grandmother learning all the families cooking secrets that were passed down from generation to generation. From then on his passion for cooking grew stronger and stronger.
As time went on Chef Ron went to work on Wall Street which he worked for over 25 years. The one thing he could not get away from was that desire to make people feel good through his cooking.
He traveled to Italy touring the Vineyards and dining at the little family owned restaurants which just fueled his passion more.
Then in 1992 he started his own catering business where he made food for people ranging from intimate dinners for two to corporate fundraisers up to 400 people while overseeing a staff of 27.
His food was very diverse including everything from Funky Salads to Unique finger foods and sandwiches.
His mission statement is to always make people feel like it is Sunday dinner at home and will not sacrifice fresh quality ingredients no matter what.
From 2009 til 2011 he ran the food services at the Middletown Swim Club and from 2010 to 2012 at same time owned and operated The Surf Shack Grill in West End Long Branch.
